2010 TAFE Western Outstanding Graduating Student Awards

Each year TAFE NSW - Western Institute recognises its most outstanding graduating students. Recipients of 2010 Outstadning Graduating Student Awards were presented with their awards at a ceremony held in Dubbo on June 24.

These awards are the most prestigious offered by the Institute.  Teachers are asked to nominate graduating students and category winners are chosen by each faculty.

Category winners are then interviewed by a selection panel to choose the Most Outstadning Graduating Student for TAFE Western in 2010.

Teachers nominate students for a number of reasons, apart from showing dedication and excellence in their studies there is an opportunity to recognise students who may have overcome personal barriers or for the contributions they made to others in their classes and the wider community.

Given the size of the Institute and total numbers of student enrolments (38,652 in 2009) it is a significant achievement for each of these students who have been named as an Outstanding Graduating Student.
