Alison Cutmore - Category Winner, Pre-vocational and Foundation Studies
When Sally Delaney, Alison's teacher, nominated her for this award she mentioned Alison's tremendous enthusiasm, commitment and motivation.
Alison, a busy wife and mother completed the Certificate III in Education Support - Teacher's Aide (Special) at Cowra College using flexible delivery.
As a result of her study, Alison was offered part-time employment at Cowra High School where she worked with children who needed assistance and support.
She also mentored and assisted other students enrolled in her course and has encouraged others from her community to begin TAFE courses. In the future Alison would like to complete university study and become a teacher herself.
