Jill Morris - Category Winner, Personal and Community Services
Jill completed a Diploma of Community Welfare Work whilst co-enrolled in Bachelor of Social Work with Charles Sturt University. She has achieved outstanding results and was awarded a CSU Scholarship in 2006.
Her teachers, Rosemary Petheram and David Smith have commented on Jill's capacity for leadership and guidance that has benefited the whole cohort of students. As well as high academic ability she has interpersonal skills, integrity and is professional in her work.
Jill is hoping to work with families in the Dubbo area after she graduates from university and is especially interested in early intervention and prevention strategies.
She fits the demands of her studies around the responsibilities of caring for her family and part-time work.
