Marian Bishop - Category Winner, Information Technology, Arts and Media
After coming to TAFE to gain skills and a qualification to start a new career, Marian has successfully completed the Diploma of Information Technology (Websites) at the Broken Hill College and commenced
a Bachelor of Computing Science/Bachelor of Law via distance education with the University of New England.
Marian's teacher Alison Burt nominated her for this award and said that her achievements and skills have been recognised with two Campus Achievement Awards, the Broken Hill Community Credit Union Award and Barrier Daily Truth Award.
Marion has also found employment in a related field and volunteered her knowledge and skills to benefit the local community organisations.
