Sharee Paton - Category Winner, Business and Administration Services
"Tremendous courage and perseverance" are the words Sharee's teacher, Sue Chesher wrote when she nominated her for this award.
Sharee started to loose her sight when she was seven years old and is now blind. She uses a computer program especially designed for blind people to enable her to study. From TAFE, Sharee has gone on to study a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) via distance education with Charles Sturt University
Sharee was able to complete her Certificate IV in Business Administration (with a Credit Award) at her home in Canowindra using flexible delivery provided by Cowra TAFE College. Her teacher, Sue Chesher visited for one or two hours each week to provide support.
