These are the events where our students participated
Mt Panorama Race Track, Bathurst
11 - 14 February Armour All 12hr Race
Students worked for a variety of race teams carrying out setup, preparation repairs and adjustments. During the race they carried out refuelling and fire extinguisher duties at pit stops.
2 - 6 April FoSC Historic Easter Races
Students provided a mechanical and electrical repair service as well as wheel alignments, corner weights, welding and minor accident repairs for all competitors at our Motorsport Training Centre workshop.
17 - 18 April NSW Hillclimb Championships
Students setup our Motorsport mobile workshop in McPhillamy Park and provided a general mechanical and electrical repair service as well as wheel alignments, corner weights, welding and minor accident repairs for all competitors.
6 - 10 October Bathurst 1000 Race meeting
Students worked for race teams in various support categories carrying out setup, preparation, repairs and adjustments.
Eastern Creek Raceway, Sydney
21 - 22 May World Time Attack Challenge Superlap Meeting
Students set up and manned the Motorsport Training Centre display answering questions and promoting motorsport training at Mt Panorama.
29 - 30 May GT Sports Car Carnival
Students worked for a variety of race teams carrying out setup, preparation, repairs and adjustments.
19 - 20 June NSW State Championship Race Meeting
Students worked for a variety of production sports car teams carrying out setup, preparation, repairs and adjustments.
17 - 18 July Shannons 6HR Endurance Race
Students worked for a variety of race teams carrying out setup, preparation, repairs and adjustments. During the race they carried out refuelling and fire extinguisher duties at pit stops.
11 - 12 September Shannons Nationals Race Meeting
Selected students worked for a V8 Touring Car Race Team carrying out setup, preparation, repairs and adjustments.
23 - 24 October NSW State Championship Race Meeting
Students worked for a variety of production sports car teams carrying out setup, preparation, repairs and adjustments.
26 - 28 November Tasman Revival Race Meeting
Students will setup our Motorsport mobile workshop in the Eastern Creek Pits and provide a general mechanical and electrical repair service as well as wheel alignments, corner weights, welding and minor accident repairs for all competitors.
11 - 12 December Eastern Creek 8HR Production Car Race
Students will work for a variety of race teams carrying out setup, preparation, repairs and adjustments. During the race they will carry out refuelling, fire extinguisher and other duties at pit stops.
Wakefield Park Race Track, Goulburn
10 - 11 April NSW State Championship Race Meeting
Students worked for a variety of production sports car teams carrying out setup, preparation, repairs and adjustments.
28 - 29 August NSW State Championship Race Meeting
Students worked for a variety of production sports car teams carrying out setup, preparation, repairs and adjustments.
Sydney Olympic Precinct, Homebush Bay
3 - 5 December V8 Supercar Grand Finale
Selected students will work with V8 Supercar main game teams assisting with a variety of pit activities.
Additional Events
Selected students were invited by a number of race teams to attend other interstate race meetings. These included Shannons Nationals rounds at Winton, Morgan Park and Sandown Raceway and the Island Magic Race Meeting at Phillip Island Circuit. One student was also selected to participate as service crew for a team in the Australasian Safari Event in Western Australia.
