Certificate II and Certificate III in Motorsport

Whilst completing these motorsport courses students will train and work at the Mount Panorama Motorsport Training Centre and the Bathurst TAFE Campus. The Motorsport Training Centre is situated within the Mt Panorama race track precinct and has an equipped workshop to enable students to carry out race car dismantling, repair, reassembly and setup preparation. A separate classroom and amenities building is adjacent to the workshop

Throughout their training course students will work on the Training Centre's own race cars as well as competitors race cars at Mt Panorama and other race tracks in Australia.

Training in pit lane operations and pit setup is carried out in the famous Mt Panorama Race Track pit lane and pit garages which are adjacent to the Motorsport Training Centre. At all times the training emphasises safety whilst carrying out hands on maintenance and repair procedures, race car setup, pit lane procedures and race team operations. Strict adherence to motor racing OH&S and race team and event safety protocols is observed at all times.
