Community Services and Health is one of the most diverse industry groups in the Australian workforce and is tipped to become the fastest growing industry in Australia in the next five years.

This industry is central to the wellbeing and development of all Australians, providing essential services and support to the whole population from pre-birth and childhood through to old age.

It is the largest employer of Australians, providing jobs to 1.069 million people. There is constant need for skilled health and community workers, providing a challenging and intensely rewarding career for those with the right personal qualities and training.

Employment prospects are good and expanding with an ageing population and growing community demand for childcare and improved health and welfare services.
