School Based Apprentices and Trainees 

You may be able to employ a senior school student under a part-time school based traineeship.

Part-time traineeships in schools provide senior secondary students with three qualifications:

• a nationally recognised VET qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
• a Certificate of Proficiency on satisfactory completion of the traineeship
• credit toward the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
