BEST Employment Training Partnership
A special graduation ceremony has been held for the participants of a recently completed training partnership in Walgett conducted in partnership with BEST Employment. Students were introduced to a range of work skills including welding, landscaping, construction, fencing and lamb marking.
Work place experience included work on a local station, at both the Walgett Primary and High School campuses. A plaque to commemorate the work done at the schools was presented by the students to the School Principal. The course was coordinated by Access and General education teachers Shirley Bleechmore and Shane Kilby.
