For Employment Services Providers
Productivity Places Program
TAFE NSW Western Institute has been approved by the Australian Government to deliver Productivity Placement Programs (PPP) in Central and Western NSW. Qualifications from a range of industries have been selected to help your unemployed clients to secure long term employment.
Please use this link to see the list of courses currently approved for Productivity Placement Programs,. This training will be fully funded by the Australian Government and is available for people seeking new qualifications as well as those upgrading existing qualifications.
There may be unemployed people registered with your service who would benefit from participating in a Productivity Placement Program.
Productivity Places are available to those looking for work, who are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia and are over the age of 15. Some other eligibility criteria apply and details are available from TAFE NSW Western Institute, or from the Australian Government website, http://www.productivityplaces.deewr.gov.au/.
Trainees also need to be assessed as having capacity to benefit from the training. Full-time students and people who are self employed are not eligible for the program.
The duration, timing and location for courses will depend on the qualifications being sought. The Institute welcomes discussions and suggestions from Job Network Providers and can organise training for groups in most locations.
Partnerships with Employment Services Providers
The Institute is proud of its outstanding record for delivering training in partnership with Job Network Providers. A recent example is the Building Practical Skills Project at Walgett.
